Just A Ride

The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round – it has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and it’s very loud and it’s fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a very long time and they begin to question; is this real or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered and they come back to us saying “Hey don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.”

And we… kill those people.

“We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real.”

Just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn’t matter because it’s just a ride and we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice right now between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one.

Here’s what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it on feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space together, both inner and outer, forever in peace.

  1. Money? Oh, the shop. Just capitalising upon a good brand name. But mostly it's there as proof that people with phones can do just as much as people with PCs on the web.

  2. Oh that. Sorry, I claimed my blog on technorati. You have to make a post with a piece of HTML in it for the site to recognise, to prove it's yours.

  3. Obviously I check out videos on PC when possible. Usually I use mobile youtube or tinytube to view them first.Occasionally my PC user friends will get PMs asking if something's working properly when I can't view it.There's a link up there somewhere that lets you view this page the same way I do. Give it a try.:D

  4. Carol, you can log in as yourself safely there. Use the phone buttons to scroll up and down and navigate the page. You can leave comments or even go to your own page and make a post.Go on, walk a day in my phone.:D

  5. Need a hand up…?*reaches down*You always got friends here for you, don't forget it. And try not to worry about unsure things like you have been doing.

  6. It's a phonies joke C. Vodafone has been messing up WAP pages recently and people are boycotting.Nevermind eh? If it needs explaining it's not funny. πŸ˜€

  7. The only thing that I used a PC for was the banner and adding that map last night. There's a load of phone bloggers here. Callya, Cois and Fanny all create their pages via mobile.Nevermind C, think we've astounded Dan anyway. 😎
