And So It Begins…

Chicken leftovers, a leftover Yorkshire pudding and fresh roast potatoes for lunch today. Chicken sandwich later on… I swear I’m gonna grow feathers by the time I have a different meal. Leftover Christmas pudding after that, but no brandy sauce as the stuff we got was almost pure alcohol and went down the drain as soon as my mouth stopped burning… Luckily I already have nuts so I don’t have to worry about that like the feathers.

  1. Leftovers are good the day after and possibly on day 3. But after that… *phew* Here's it's pork – and I want chicken!

  2. Here it's duck. A really big mofo of a duck, and we were only three persons to eat it Christmas night, so we had leftovers yesterday and today. But that's it. The candy and cakes is another story, though. You can never have enough candy and cake.

  3. Not a fan of duck at all. It's too rubbery for not enough flavour. Maybe I've just never found a restaurant that can cook it correctly. Maybe I should try it myself… :chef:.I think I'd like to see your tail curl up, Kitten. Then I can hang you safely out of the way while I take over your country with my latest weapon – Monster Children! My night as Santa brought a sackful of naughty children to turn into monsters.

  4. Damn, I did it again… Should have known better than to enter the realm of Furie just before bedtime. That last picture will give me a nice night of sweaty nightmares…

  5. Your monster children seem to like cats :DAs a thank you for destroying the houses, I gave her a nice little allergy!

  6. Just don't give one-handed typists reason to visit. That's all I ever ask. This blog is dedicated to a different type of one-handed typing.

    Strong brandy grows testicles? :eyes:

  8. The bad stuff gives you delusions of cat-hood :p I've had duck a few times…and only found it done well once. Cooked wrong, it's bilge. Cooked right…it can taste pretty good. But chicken in a good gravy wins every time :chef:
