A legend never dies.
Woke up this morning to find one of the voices of rock had passed on due to cancer. Sad stuff, but what he left behind will endure.
I believe it is safe to say, without any disrespect, that it is impressive he made it to the age of 70.
I think most of these guys are either pickled, or in a state where the sheer amount of chemicals inside them are working more to counteract each other than to harm their bodies. If they could remember what they took in details beyond “Some pills, man.” we’d have cracked immortality around the eight hundredth year of Keith Richards life. As it stands, they forget and therefore the mixture only keeps them alive as long as their luck holds out.
😯 I saw him live a couple years ago on tour with Dio and Iron Maiden.
He will be missed… R.I.P. 😦
Never been a big fan of Motorhead, but it is a true that they left a big mark in music scene during 70s and 80s. Respect for that and R.I.P. to Lemmy!
